Short- virtually flat, just a fitted section. This is my preferred style. All your accessories will fit and because it sits the highest so it stays the cleanest longest.
Medium- fitted section intended to sit as deep as the intake to the neck keeping accessories out.
Long- fitted section sits just above the top of the barrel acting as a valve keeping accessories in the barrel. no valve need.
